Linebacker is a self-contained DCME system for compression of multiple T1/E1 spans employing ISDN or SS7 signaling into a single T1/E1 span for transport to a mirrored installation at a remote location. Up to 194/210 radios/audio paths are supported on a T1 or E1 respectively.

Configuration and maintenance of LineBacker may be performed using any PC or workstation equipped with a web browser, either from a local or remote location. System security is maintained by a username and password protected database that controls system access.
Linebacker can also be utilized to extend (remote) Constellation communications services via T1, E1 or IP facilities.
