Constellation^® Dispatch System

Constellation^® is a 4th generation VoIP-networked command and control communications console for networking land mobile radio communications. Constellation^® includes a radio-telecom interoperability Gateway and Conference Bridge, allowing Operators to seamlessly communicate with numerous types of radio and telephone systems via wired or wireless Ethernet networks, without requiring special routers or complex network configuration. Constellation^® offers advanced features for emergency incident response, EOC and E911 operations, including low power, high mobility, cellular phone interfaces, analog paging, simulcast, instant recall, patching, auxiliary control, alarms and VoIP logging features. Whether single or multiple networked dispatch points are required, Constellation^® provides a cost-effective high performance solution.

At the core of Constellation^® is a network based VoIP/RoIP Softswitch, achieving radio and telephone integration in the same system. The revolutionary Constellation^® technology provides a high density, compact configuration requiring a fraction of the size, power, heat and weight of previous generation designs.

Not only does the dramatic reduction in power extend the life of Constellation^® components as compared to earlier designs, all Constellation^® boards are hot-swappable, allowing maintenance to proceed without incurring system down time. Constellation^® hot-standby redundant configurations achieve an industry leading “five nines” reliability, equaling less than 5 minutes of downtime per year.

Constellation^® communications interfaces include radio, FXO/FXS analog telephone, T1/E1 ISDN, H.323 and SIP. Constellation^® supports alarms with distinctive, prioritized audio alerts, and auxiliary control functions with status sensing.
